Dr. Wispelwey’s background as a college athlete at Duke University has established a mindset of constant learning and a desire to always improve each day. After getting his degree from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, he completed a year of postgraduate residency at St. Barnabas Hospital, a Level 1 trauma center in the Bronx. After joining his father’s practice, he completed a year-long in implant training at Columbia University, along with further education in Esthetic Rehabilitation. Always looking for more, he committed himself to the extensive learning provided by the Kois Center, in Seattle, WA. This allowed him to be mentored by one of the leading dental practitioners and researchers in the profession. During his time at the Kois Center, Dr. Wispelwey learned how to treat complex Esthetic cases, as well as being kept up to date on the latest research in the dental field.
His commitment to learning and excellence has brought him into the field of Biomimetic Dentistry, where he completed a year-long Mastership program under Matt Nejad, at the Nejad Institute.
Biomimetic Dentistry has given Dr. Wispelwey the opportunity to treat teeth according to very specific principles, with emphasis being placed on building teeth using materials that function like a natural tooth, enabling our patients to get more life out of their own teeth and not be subject to losing their teeth. Biomimetic Dentistry takes a more Holistic approach, with the main focus on tooth preservation. To further his studies, Dr. Wispelwey is in the midst of furthering his knowledge under the guidance of the premier researcher and teacher, Pascal Magne.
The focus and mission of FLOW Dental Aesthetics is that we will constantly strive for Perfection, so that we may achieve Excellence
